An interesting and thoughtful article, Manuel. The only comment I have at this point is that I have had Jastrow’s book God and the Astronomers since it was published. And my favorite sentence in it is the one you quoted: "[The scientist] has scaled the mountains of ignorance… as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”
